(NASA) reveals secret to changing the colors of one of Jupiter’s moons

The US space agency “NASA” has revealed “exciting” information related to “Europa”, one of the moons of Jupiter.
And the US space agency said that the moon “Europa” glows in the dark and during the day too, as it changes colors.
And scientists at NASA have indicated that Jupiter’s radiation helps move the moon, and salty vehicles on its surface interact with it, emitting lights in green, blue or white colors, according to British newspaper The Independent.
The researchers achieved this result with the help of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory with a “spectrometer”, which is an instrument capable of analyzing the components of light and measuring its reflections.
Commenting on the “NASA” findings, said Murthy Godebatti of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory: “The nocturnal glow will provide additional information on the composition of Europe’s surface and the potential for life to form on its surface.”
The surface of “Europa” consists of a mixture of ice and salts, including magnesium sulfate and sodium chloride, “table salt”, and “glowing salt” is one of the electrons that enter the surface of the moon, which is common, but scientists didn’t expect the icy structures would change the way the glow would change, so each type of ice has a different spectrum.

To test this, NASA created a tool called an “ice room” because its mission was to assess the radiation environment and the high energy electrons in “Europa”, and their interactions with organic matter under the ice. from the moon.

Fred Pittman, the co-author of the study, published in the scientific journal Nature, pointed out that seeing a sodium chloride solution with a lower brightness level represented a moment that changed the course of research. “.

Previous studies had shown that “Europa” contains large amounts of water equivalent to three times that of the planet.
