“NASA” reveals that the new planet is spinning in a habitable range due to its confinement to bodies of water and its temperature suitable for humans.
The US space agency has unveiled a planet it has called “the new earth” because of the presence of the most important life element on it.
And the agency “NASA” in a brief news published on its official website, that the planet (Kepler-22b), is the first planet considered to be habitable.
The agency noted that this planet rotates in a habitable range due to its confinement to bodies of water and its temperature suitable for humans.
The “Kepler” mission of the “SANA” agency revealed that the asteroid could contain liquid water, which is one of the most important elements of life.
The agency confirmed the planet’s rotation within an appropriate range of its solar star, making this distance very suitable for the formation of liquid water.
This exoplanet is 2.4 times the size of Earth, making it the smallest planet in existence to date, orbiting the middle of the habitable zone of a star like our sun.
Kepler-22b is the first planet discovered inside the habitable zone of a Sun-like star. The temperature of the planet is around 22 degrees Celsius, which is also a suitable temperature for life, and the presence of liquid water will increase the chances of its existence or formation.
Since the planet was discovered in 2011, when the U.S. Space Agency’s Kepler Telescope detected it, scientists have not been able to tell if the planet is mostly made up of rock, gas, or liquids.
But the photos taken of the planet confirm the presence of clouds very similar to the clouds of the planet, and an atmosphere as evidenced by the image taken by the spacecraft.
