Scientists began experimenting with the placebo and its ability to detect the disease by performing a one-millimeter breast cancer biopsy in the breast, comprising about 100,000 body cells, and then treated those cells. The tumor was reconstructed using virtual reality to see if these cells would develop into cancerous tumors.
The scientists said the "smart tumor" had been successful in the experiment and that the malignancy had been explored very early thanks to the study of the human cells in which it had been implanted.
