New Attorney General: Prosecutors will monitor prisons and perform all the work assigned to their male counterparts during the investigation and prosecution

Attorney General Sheikh Saud al Moajab said female prosecutors would do the same job as male members without exception.

He explained that they would work in the context of investigations and prosecutions as well as in prison monitoring and would listen to women who had criminal cases.

He added that women would work in all men's jobs, stressing that he was fully convinced that Saudi women deserved parliamentary work to fulfill the aspirations of the guardian and those of society.

Sheikh Al-Mujab met today with the newly appointed public prosecutors, who noted that this group would be followed by several other batches, after Saudi women have proved their competence in various fields.
