New information on the satellites between the rings of Saturn

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Astronomers and researchers have discovered new information on the small moons separating the rings of Saturn, discovered by NASA's Cassini spacecraft in 2017.

Qatar, Ban, Davenis, Atlas, Pandora and Epimethos are between 8 and 116 km in diameter and are round in shape, such as flying saucers or potatoes, anchored in the clefts between the rings of the planet.

Cassini, who spent 13 years near the planet, was introduced between the rings of Saturn and continued to transmit data to the Earth until she left service on September 13, 2017, 20 years after its launch.

Some 4,000 scientific papers have been published on Cassini's discoveries, and much of the information appears unpublished.

"I want to do at least an additional contract on these things," said Bonnie Borati, an astronomer from the American Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California.

The data collected by Cassini is still under study and this study is just a sample of the discoveries. So I reinforced the theory that the rings and moons of Saturn come from the same orb that crashed as a result of a collision.
