New Maps Update Brings Shared Routes and Cycling to Transit Routes

Google Maps has provided users with long haul routes, and Uber has also been used in some cities where taxis are on demand. Now, the company has combined them with personalized bike services.

The function works as you wish. Simply select your destination, select the Transit tab and you will automatically see cycling and trip sharing options if you arrive by foot from the bus station. You will also get regular information such as how long it will take, how much you will pay, and you can also set preferences for your preferred flight providers.

If you are considering cycling, the incentive is more important and consists of offering routes designed for cyclists and roads with bike lanes. Overall, the new feature is expected to make its way to Google Maps users on Android and iOS platforms in the next 30 weeks in 30 countries around the world.
