Al-Marsad Journal: Medical research has revealed the negative effects of emerging corona virus infection and its impact on men’s sexual health, according to the Cleveland Clinic medical website.
The site said research indicated negative effects of Covid-19 infection, including erectile dysfunction in men.
He pointed out that there are factors explaining the possibility for men infected with the coronavirus to develop sexual dysfunction, as Covid-19 causes infections throughout the body, especially in the region of the heart and surrounding muscles, and blood flow to the penis may be blocked, due to damage to the blood vessels.
He explained that there is also a psychological factor, as sexual activity is linked to mental health, and here is the role of the negative virus which causes tension, anxiety and even depression and affects mood.
He added: The general deterioration in health caused by the epidemic is leading to a number of health problems, including, of course, impotence.
