News 24 4 mechanisms to raise to 70% the percentage of housing ownership by citizens

The government's communications center revealed the mechanism by which the housing program would increase the percentage of citizens' home ownership to 70% by 2030.

The housing program – launched by the Ministry of Housing in cooperation with 16 government agencies through various programs – aims to bring the proportion of homeowners to 60% by 2020 and to 70% by 2030 .

The Center highlighted four program mechanisms aimed at enabling citizens to own property:

1- Provide appropriate housing units with various options and prices tailored to different Saudi families.

2- To allow every citizen to have access to financing in a practical and profitable way.

3- Work on regulations and legislation related to the housing sector.

4- Citizen service by facilitating the trip to become his first home using information technology.
