News 24 79A Energy-saving and environmentally friendly LED lighting illuminates Riyadh's streets and tunnels

The Municipality of Riyadh, in cooperation with the National Energy Efficiency Corporation, has completed the installation of 79,000 energy-saving LED lanterns in road lighting poles, bridges and tunnels in main and secondary streets of Riyadh.

According to the Riyadh Municipality, LED lighting lanterns, energy efficient and environmentally friendly, have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.

LED lighting lanterns contribute to a reduction in consumption of 40 to 60% and offer good visibility in case of weather fluctuations, thus reducing horizontal vision and providing good vision of the eye in normal conditions.
