Some used car brokers have taken advantage of a new trick to trick women about to buy cars, by committing financially to checking stores to hide flaws from customers.
The details indicate that the brokers refuse to check the cars in their branches and force the customers to check them in stores near the market, then the store hides the car’s faults in order to get a financial return from the brokers.
According to Al-Watan, women recounted their experiences with brokers selling used cars, noting that they made a mistake in directing them to specific stores for review and then finding out about the car’s flaws afterwards, but each party disavows the matter.
For its part, the Ministry of Commerce has confirmed He will not tolerate the application of the regulations to violators and those involved in deceiving consumers, stressing that companies, agencies or car shows concealing defects expose them to severe penalties.
