And the Kaaba remained about 375 years before this restoration without complete restoration, since the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Murad IV, and the restoration included the entire roof of the Kaaba, and the treatment of the stones exposed to cracks, especially of the interior. .
During the restoration, the historic paintings were removed for preservation and returned after the restoration was completed, and the tiles were removed from the walls of the Kaaba, and then the materials that caught the pieces of stone (the traditional mixture used in construction) were excavated.
The stones forming the inner body of the walls which need restoration after their numbering are removed, then they are exposed on the outer wall of the Kaaba; No structural defect was observed.
The disclosure showed that the inner liner filled the spaces between rocks in the outer walls, which in their buried inner form take on what resembles the roots of molars inside the gums, and these roots are elongated and shortened and often are pointed at their ends, forming spaces between them.
Historical sources have clarified that the basis of the Holy Kaaba since the time of our master Abraham, peace be upon him, is a solid stone interwoven, and that this foundation and its rules have not been violated during the many times when the Holy Kaaba was rebuilt.
This information was supported by what was actually seen at the site, where the ancient stable and intertwined stones appeared, the shape of which resembles the necks of camels, like Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr, God be pleased with him, has them seen when he laid out the foundations, and fifty men of righteous men were witnessed at that time.
