An official source at the Energy Ministry said that in reference to Coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen last night (Wednesday), the destruction of two remote-controlled boat bombs launched by the Houthi terrorist militia, this operation has took place near the floating platform of the petroleum products distribution station in Jazan.
The source added that the operation caused a fire in the pipes floating in the platform and that the fire was dealt with according to the rules followed, and that there were no injuries or deaths.
He stressed that the Kingdom condemns this cowardly attack and that this act of terrorism and sabotage, as well as other criminal acts directed against vital facilities, are not only aimed at the Kingdom, but also aimed at the security of oil exports, the stability of the world’s energy supply and freedom of world trade.
He stressed that these attacks also target the world economy as a whole, in addition to affecting maritime navigation and exposing coasts and territorial waters to major environmental disasters resulting from such disruptive acts.
