Facebook and Instagram have been facing a sudden technical failure, causing complaints from many users around the world about poor service.
A number of Facebook and Entgram users in Britain, some Arab countries and parts of the United States have had trouble communicating with them, while others have posted pictures of a message stating that Facebook is temporarily under maintenance and that it will return to normal in a few minutes.
"We are aware that some users around the world are having trouble using the application," Facebook said in a statement.
