CITC has published a rating index of telecommunications service providers in terms of complaints received by the TRA for the fourth quarter of 2018, with the aim of enhancing transparency and competition among telecommunication service providers.
The index showed that complaint data had been transmitted to the Authority through its website, indicating a 3% decrease in the total number of complaints received by the Authority in relation to in the third quarter of 2018. In addition, mobile phone services issued the total number of complaints filed during the quarter.
Mobily and Saudi Telecom have the highest number of complaints in the mobile services category, while Saudi Telecom ranks the highest among fixed telephone service companies in terms of number of complaints per 100,000 subscribers.
Mobily tops the list, while Saudi Mobile Telecommunications Company (Zain) leads the rankings of mobile Internet companies by number of complaints per hundred thousand subscribers.
