Over the past week, more than 230,000 travelers with their families left King Fahd Causeway for Bahrain after allowing those under 18 to travel there.
Sources said the bridge’s passport department was working at full capacity to carry out travelers’ procedures, pointing out – according to “Al-Youm” newspaper – that thousands of families have left the Kingdom smoothly in light of all precautionary measures taken.
For his part, Eastern Region Passports media spokesperson Colonel Mualla Al-Otaibi explained that the departure and arrival procedures are smooth and smooth, indicating that the instructions oblige citizens to travel with the passport and not with the national identity card as was the case in the past.
He stressed the need for the traveler to be aware of the requirements for traveling to the destination country, calling on traveler citizens to check the validity dates of their passports so that they are valid for more than 3 months.
