The American startup Eat Just has announced the establishment of a meat production plant made from animal cells in Qatar, the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The plant will be built in a free zone with access to the port of Hamad, at a total cost of more than $ 200 million.
At the end of 2020, Eat Just obtained authorization to market laboratory-made chicken pieces in the restaurants of the competent authorities in Singapore.
