Sheikh Saleh Al-Mughamsi, an imam and preacher of the Quba Mosque, commented on a video clip of the latter during his speech on the rise of Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al-Kaaba.
"The question of climbing to the surface of the Ka'ba is not discussed by scholars, it is a reward for the public, but the dispute over the legitimacy of prayer on the Kaaba, and a group of Hanbalis who went there is not eligible, however, the late Hanbalis was wrong.
Al-Maghamsi added that his speech had been withdrawn and that the video clip did not show all that he had said.
