Earlier, the climate professor at Qassim University, Dr Abdullah Al-Misnad, explained that according to astronomical calculations, the month of Dhul-Qi’dah 1442 AH will be full (30 days), and the first of Dhul- Hijjah will be on Sunday July 11.
Al-Misnad has indicated that to stand in Arafat for the year 1442 AH will be on the (Monday) corresponding to July 19, and therefore Eid al-Adha will be on Tuesday, July 20.
And he indicated that the date of the conjunction will be 4:16 a.m. (Saturday) 30 Dhu al-Qa’dah (July 10), and the crescent of Dhul-Hijjah will remain above the horizon of Mecca for about 35 minutes in the evening (Saturday).
