Ministry of the Interior The Interior Ministry on Wednesday executed the death sentence passed on a smuggler who had fled a quantity of amphetamine pills in the Tabuk region.

The ministry said in a statement that security authorities had arrested Ahmed Abdul Rahman Abdul Razak, a "Syrian national" while he was smuggling a quantity of banned amphetamine pills.

The investigation had resulted in the indictment of the accused and, by returning him to court, an act establishing proof of what had been legitimately attributed to him and sentencing him to death was approved.
