Today (Sunday), the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Great Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque unveiled the preparation of its system of services provided in the square between gate 86 and gate 89 on the plaza de l ‘West, in order to serve the pilgrims of the Great Mosque during their delegations to perform the prayers of Maghrib, Isha and Fajr.
The Under-Secretary of the President General for Services and Field Affairs, Muhammad Al-Jabri, confirmed that all preparations for the service and technical departments had been lifted to receive 100,000 pilgrims and 60,000 faithful, with technical and operational service packages, and precautionary measures, in the Great Mosque and the west square located between the two gates, and to provide all technical and operational services, taking into account all precautionary measures, including the carpet throughout the Great Mosque, with packaging of its periodic sterilization and disinfection procedures.
It also included the provision of irrigation services to Zamzam water through technical capacities and human cadres, and the intensification of sterilization, perfumery and disinfection operations, so that the pilgrims of the Grand Mosque could enjoy distinguished service that matches the aspirations of wise leaders – may God protect him – towards excellence in the service system for visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
He highlighted the redevelopment of carpets in general sites inside the Grand Mosque and West Square, and the expansion of King Abdullah with around 3,000 carpets, with carpets being lifted early in the day on the sites of the “Place de l’Ouest”. and returned before nightfall in the midst of a system of preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of pilgrims.
