Yesterday (Tuesday), the Council of Ministers held its session chaired by the guardian of the two holy mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, by video call.
The Council considered a number of issues and files related to the current situation at local, regional and international levels, as well as the efforts of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to achieve the goals of the Green Middle East Initiative.
The Council of Ministers also took a number of decisions, including:
Approval of an agreement between the Kingdom and the World Tourism Organization concerning the creation of a regional office of the World Tourism Organization in the Middle East, based in Riyadh.
Approval of a protocol annexed to the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of the Kingdom and the Government of Japan on the Implementation of the Saudi-Japanese Vision (2030).
Approval of the charter establishing the Digital Cooperation Organization.
– Change the name (Royal Institute of the Arts) in the National Strategy for Culture, published by Cabinet Resolution No. (414) of 07/19/1440 AH, to become (Royal Institute of Traditional Arts), and approve arrangements .
Approval of the organizational arrangements of the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
Approval of the human organ donation system.
– Appointment of Ms. Sarah Bint Jamaz bin Abdullah Al-Suhaimi, member of the board of directors of Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation, as representative of the private sector.
Approval of the abolition of the Statutes of the Patent Office of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, approved by Royal Decree No. (M / 3) of 05/17/1415 AH.
Approval of promotions and appointments to (fifteenth) and (fourteenth) grades, and appointments to a post (Minister Plenipotentiary)
