Yesterday, Thursday, the Minister of Culture announced the selection of the Republic of Iraq as guest of honor at the Riyadh International Book Fair in its version, to be held next October, indicating that the choice of Iraq falls within the framework of the fraternal relations which unite the two fraternal peoples, and within the framework of the joint efforts of the two countries to strengthen cooperation in all fields, including cultural.
Prince Badr bin Farhan visited Iraq in April 2019, as part of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council delegation, where he visited a number of historical and cultural sites in Baghdad, visited Al-Mutanabi Street and Al-Qashla, “the seat of the old government”, as well as the Abbasid palace and the governor’s house.
