The Syrian Football Federation (SFA) has fired coach Bund Stangh following a 2-2 defeat against Jordan on Thursday during the second phase of the 2019 Asian Cup groups.
"The Syrian Arab Football Federation has decided to sack national coach Bernd Stange and appoint the national coach to replace Ibrahim," said the official on his official website.
The club said Ibrahim would join the team next Friday in preparation for his next crucial match against Australia on the 15th of this month, in which the "Eagles of Qaseen" will have a difficult task to enter in the round of 16, after being frozen at two points after losing today and draw an opening with Palestine without goals.
