The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Friday denied the use of parts of insects in the manufacture of peanut butter.
Technical Regulation No. GSO 787, "Peanut Butter" in the Saudi Gulf, does not stipulate that peanut butter must be able to contain parts of insects, the agency said via his Twitter account.
The regulation states that the product must be free of pathogenic microorganisms causing corruption and toxins.
