Dutch police released a statement today (Monday), adding that the person arrested in the shooting at the Saudi Embassy in The Hague last week had acted with “terrorist motives”.
Police said the arrested suspect, 40, attempted to kill the building guard and issued “terrorist end” threats.
She said terrorist intent was evident in the suspect’s attempt to impose his will on the embassy through his actions, indicating that the judiciary extended his detention for two weeks today.
