Education Minister Dr Hamad Al-Sheikh reviewed some of the major changes that have taken place in school curricula, which are planned for the new school year.
He pointed out, during an intervention on Al-Arabiya channel today (Thursday), that there is a change in the study plans which includes the addition of new subjects and the reformulation of other subjects. , with scientific and linguistic modifications, and that there is a new curriculum on life and family skills, and that it has scheduled classes and will be applied in both phases.
He explained that there are additional classes for subjects important to international examinations, such as science and mathematics, stressing the addition of enrichment aspects to the curricula of these subjects.
He added that for the first time the teaching of English is applied from the first to the third secondary, having been applied from the fourth year, noting that new programs such as critical thinking will be applied in the third and first years of secondary school. , as well as new supports to international standards such as digital education which will be applied from the fourth year of primary to third secondary.
