News 24 | Education Minister visits first director of Umm Al-Qura University to check his health

Yesterday (Thursday) Education Minister Dr Hamad Al-Sheikh visited the first director of Umm Al-Qura University and former Shura Council member Dr Rashid Al-Rajeh , at his home in the Al-Awali district of Mecca.

The minister and the accompanying delegation were received by a former member of the Shura Council, Dr Obaid bin Saad Al-Abdali, and members of the Al Rajeh family.

Al-Sheikh reassured the health of Dr. “Al-Rajeh”, praying to God for healing, and thanking him for his sincere efforts during a fragrant walk he spent during 40 years in the service of his country.

Yesterday, the Minister of Education met with employees of Umm Al-Qura University and had an open dialogue with them, to discuss possibilities of joint cooperation, to establish research centers and specialized publishing vessels for scientific research, to benefit from technical systems and platforms.
