Today (Tuesday), the Saudi Electricity Company warned subscribers not to approach meters, open them, tamper with their components, or attempt to restore service on their own, exposing them to serious risks and to penalties and fines under the public service protection system.

The company also cautioned against dealing with non-specialists with meters, cables and electrical circuits connected to them. He exposes them to real danger, noting that tightening the meter collars with the wrong tools violates safety standards.

The company also denied the authenticity and accuracy of the circulating video clip of clamping the meter clamps, stressing that the presence of loosening in the clamps does not affect the amount or value of consumption, calling on subscribers to the contact to carry out the necessary maintenance work.
