The Ministry of Commerce defamed a citizen and resident of Syrian nationality for violating the anti-trade cover-up system, which allowed the resident citizen to engage in the activities of trading fodder and agricultural crops and renting equipment in the governorate of Tabarjal.
The ministry said the Sakaka Criminal Court issued a decision to impose a fine of 550,000 riyals on offenders, close the facility, wind up the business, cancel the license, cancel the trade register, prevent the practice of the activity and to collect zakat, fees and taxes.
She added that the decision included removing the cover-up from the Kingdom and not allowing her to return to work, and defamation by publishing the decision in a newspaper at the expense of violators.
