A spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, responded to a question about whether the mutated Corona virus had been detected in the Kingdom.
He explained during his meeting with the program “In the Public” on the “Saudi” channel, that a limited number of cases have been followed and are the subject of continuous monitoring.
He pointed out that research had been carried out on those who were in contact with them and that there were no cases of secondary transmission, stressing that all of these cases have recovered and none no other injury was detected.
He said the Kingdom has a clear plan to deal with genetic mutations for all epidemics emerging around the world, noting that dealing with such cases is not a spur of the moment.
