The Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Health for Preventive Health, Dr Abdullah Al-Asiri, commented on the increase in the number of coronavirus cases recorded in the Kingdom.
Dr Asiri said that this increase in the number of infections is due to lax certain precautions during the mid-year holidays and coincides with the winter when the activity of respiratory viruses generally increases.
He stressed the need to be cautious and build engagement, especially at family reunions and social events.
