Today, Sunday, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr Muhammad Al-Abdali, reviewed the developments of the novel Corona virus pandemic in the Kingdom, and the latest decisions relating to obtaining the vaccine and vaccination in two doses.
He pointed out during the press conference on Corona developments, that from October 10, there will be an update to set the status “immune” on the “Tawakulna” app, so that those who have completed vaccination receive two doses of the vaccine.
He stressed the importance of getting two doses of the vaccine to complete the vaccination, noting that cases that enter intensive care and witness a deterioration in health are people who have not completed the vaccination with two doses.
Al-Abdali stressed that relying on the immunity gained after recovering from the coronavirus infection and getting an extra dose is not enough to prevent infection with the corona mutants.
