Today (Sunday), a spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, confirmed that the Kingdom has contracted with a number of companies developing vaccines, to be l ‘one of the first countries in which vaccines are available.
Al-Abd al-Aali told a press conference that there are special organs and organs to ensure the safety, security, efficacy and approval of vaccines by the relevant committees and organs, including the Food and Pharmaceuticals Authority.
He pointed out that the Saudi Food and Drug Authority is one of the bodies with scientific and practical weight and value at regional and global level, and that all drugs or vaccines approved by it are reliable in their safety and their effectiveness.
He explained that if the vaccines reach the Kingdom, there are steps related to distribution, storage, use and access to people, and how to register for the vaccines will be announced soon.
