The University of King Abdulaziz has published two historical photographs documenting the first historic meeting between founding king Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman and former King of Egypt Farouk I in Yanbu, while another document reported on the visit of the founding king Egypt.
A photograph dating from 1945 (1364 AH) shows King Farouk in Saudi costume sitting next to King Abdul Aziz at the reunion of the two kings at Radwa in Yanbu, who defined the policy for the future of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Another photograph dating from 1946 (1365 AH) shows King Abdulaziz sitting next to King Farouk in his car while they were going to pray at the Al-Azhar Mosque in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
