In an interview with Al-Arabiya Channel, Al-Harbi added that the platform provides a payroll management service, which reduces administrative costs, so that the employer can transfer the salaries of employees through the platform. -form that performs all financial and administrative work, remittances and disbursements of salary on its behalf.
He underlined that after the filing of the files by the establishments, the labor disputes will decrease because the things will be clear, the wages being documented by the bank, and if the employer delays the payment of the wages, the ministry will intervene directly to make follow-up on the reasons for the delay.
Al-Harbi pointed out that the platform provides the worker with a mechanism to track the disbursement of his salary, pointing out that in the event of a lack of salary information provided by the employer, the platform sends a message to the worker. worker to confirm whether his salary has been received or not.
He indicated that the platform currently covers establishments that employ 5 or more employees, the number of which is around 200 thousand establishments, and that the remaining 400 thousand establishments in the private sector will have the program controls applied to them on December 1. .
The “Wage Protection” program, through the “Modad” platform, aims to protect workers’ rights and increase the commitment of companies to pay wages at the value and at the time specified by the system, to increase the attractiveness of the labor market and to monitor the disbursement of salaries of Saudi workers and expatriate workers.
