News 24 Injuries hold Union goalkeeper for 5 weeks

Al-Ittihad announced Sunday that goalkeeper Assaf Al-Qarni had been away for five weeks because of a broken wrist.

The media center of the Union said that medical tests had confirmed the injury of the double fracture of al-Qarni to one of the fingers of the right hand.

He pointed out that the injury required surgery and then a 5-week rehabilitation program before returning to the stadiums.
