Sharia professor at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Dr Saad Al-Khathalan, explained how it is permissible to ask other people for help wiping socks during ablution, if not -respect.
Al-Khathlan said that it is permissible for a person with a disability or old age to wipe socks with a rag or handkerchief and tie them to a stick.
He added that if that is not possible, others can help him by wiping off his socks or ablution, indicating that legal experts have said this is not a problem.
