Today (Thursday), Riyadh Municipality posted videos of surveillance cameras inside tunnels, of illegal workers stealing iron manhole covers from streets and public thoroughfares.
The clips included numerous thefts from different locations, as one showed two people exiting a vehicle in a tunnel and stealing a number of blankets, and in another location they were seen rehearsing the same thing.
The secretariat explained, in a statement, that in order to preserve the property of the city from the spread of this phenomenon and for the safety of the inhabitants, it referred the case to the security authorities to apply dissuasive sanctions.
