Ahmed Saeed pointed out that they had been waiting for this moment for 6 months, but their child’s weight was not allowed at that time to perform the operation, and when she reached the required weight, the date of the The operation was set, adding that their joy would be fuller once she was released safe and sound, while the girl’s mother expressed optimism that the separation process would be successful.
It should be noted that Dr Abdullah Al-Rabiah will take over with an integrated medical team of 25 people, and the operation is expected to last around 8.5 hours.
The surgery takes place in 8 stages: (anesthesia, endoscopy of the catheter, preparation and sterilization of the child, dissection of parasitic limbs, pelvic separation, restoration of the genitourinary system, intestinal anastomosis, restoration and closure).
