A spokesperson for the National Meteorological Center, Hussain Al-Qahtani, expects August to be the hottest month this year in terms of temperature rates in the Kingdom.
Al-Qahtani said, in an intervention with the Al-Ikhbariya channel, that temperatures will return to their normal rate after the current rains end, indicating that this situation will start to gradually decline today (Friday).
He pointed out that the humidity is concentrated on the eastern coasts and Mecca, and decreasing in the highlands and interior regions such as Najran and Riyadh.
