News 24 Mido announces an agreement to train the unit until the end of the season

Former Egyptian international Ahmed Hossam Mido has reached an agreement with club president Hatem Khaimi to lead the club's first football team until the end of the season.

Mido said he had signed with Khaimi all the details of the deal, expressing his pride "of being in the strongest league in the Arab region and competing with senior coaches every week".

He added that the most encouraging thing for him to accept this task was the enthusiasm of the board of directors to achieve the goals of the team, as well as the group of great players who have shown in recent days that they are a group of fighters willing to fight together to end the league in a position worthy of fans of the club 's unity and their potential.

Mido temporarily led the unit during the Faisali and Al Ahli matches of the professional Prince Mohammed Bin Salman tournament, losing the team in the first game and winning the second.

Mido was technical director of several Egyptian clubs, including Zamalek, Ismaili and Tigris Valley, a former Egyptian player and member of several European clubs, including Ajax, Marseille, Rome and Tottenham.
