He added that this decision would strengthen the governance of the Saudi Post and enhance competitiveness, through the introduction of businesses to fair competition and equal opportunities, in order to implement the privatization process and the transformation of the institution into a holding company.

He stressed that this decision would allow the sector to benefit from the vast experience of the Telecommunications Authority in the management of the telecommunications sector, which has led to its regional and global leadership and created an environment of fair competition between companies telecommunications, as well as a performance monitoring guaranteeing the quality of services.

The Minister has invited the Postal Society and other companies in the sector to develop tools and methods of service, seize the opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and provide the tools of the future to provide advanced postal services that meet customer needs.
