The Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Commission for Specialties in Health, Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, today (Monday) inaugurated the “Enabled” program, the model of health care.
The program, which was launched at a ceremony at the authority’s headquarters in Riyadh and via video link, aims to qualify the workforce and build skills in health clusters to enable the new model health care.
The CEO of the Health Academy, Dr Sami Al-Salami, explained that the project involves four trips (the program, the preparation of the health clusters, the trainer and the intern), and that it includes the better international partnerships with international educational institutions. institutions and universities, as well as local and international experts.
He added that the project was aligned with health communities and health practitioners, and that a platform was launched to showcase the health care model to ensure its successful implementation.
For his part, the Minister of Health indicated that the Kingdom is experiencing a period of great transformation for the health sector, and this transformation requires training and qualification on the new model of health care and its requirements, which require expertise and a different working method to achieve the efficiency of the health system.
