Islamic Affairs Minister Abdul Latif Al Al-Sheikh commented on the controversy and skepticism that has taken place over the past two days over Sahih Al-Bukhari.
Al-Sheikh said that Al-Nawawi – God have mercy on him – in the introduction of Sharh Sahih Muslim said: “The scholars, God have mercy on them, have agreed that the most correct books after the Quran are al-Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim. The Ummah received them with acceptance. ”
One of the well-known writers wrote a tweet in which he said that Sahih al-Bukhari is part of the legacy which has prompted some to paint offensive images of the Messenger, which has generated widespread controversy on the websites of social networks.
