Today (Sunday), the Ministry of Commerce announced the recall of 16,300 Kia Sportage vehicles, 2016 to 2021 models.
She explained that the reason for the recall was due to a malfunction in the electronic hydraulic brake system control unit (HECU), warning that it could lead to a short circuit and a fire in the engine compartment.
She called to verify the inclusion of the vehicle’s chassis number and to contact Al Jabr Motors and Al Ahlia Marketing Company, to make the necessary repairs free of charge, noting that the consumer has the right to obtain a replacement car or a financial compensation if the car cannot be used.
