Under Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Public Health, Dr Hani Joukhadar, expects an increase in cases of the “Corona” virus in the coming period; Due to the changing atmosphere of the Kingdom and the increase in family reunions inside and outside homes, in addition to the lack of commitment to wearing a mask.
He explained during his speech on the “Tamm” program on the “Saudi” channel, that the increase in “Corona” cases in Europe and America is an indication of the return of the virus in the same way he spread into the first stage, where the numbers rose and then started to decline.
He called for adherence to wearing masks, adhering to social distancing rules and reducing gatherings in closed places, especially during this time, saying the reason for the resurgence of Corona in European countries is again the lack of commitment to masks and social distancing.
He stressed that the Kingdom is working on two tracks in order to provide the best and safest vaccine against the virus, indicating that it is not conducting a clinical study at the moment.
