PhotoNASA released the clearest images of Mars from the Insight probe's robotic arm after Insight landed on the red planet on November 26th.

The images showed NASA's Insight vehicle, using its robotic arm to cover the already-published seismograph of a shield to protect it from heat and wind. The vehicle will start scanning the inside of the red planet with unprecedented details in a few months.

"Today, we can see the first glimpse of the vehicle's space, soon it will be filmed in great detail and a complete picture of the mission will be created," said Bruce Benarde, senior research scientist for the mission.
