The Anti-Corruption and Control Authority launched 490 rounds of surveillance in the month of Jumada al-Akhirah 1442 and investigated 411 defendants in criminal and administrative cases.

The authority arrested 65 citizens and residents, including 48 employees of the ministries of (defense, interior, justice, municipal and rural affairs, housing, education, environment, water and agriculture), in addition to the presidency of the State Security, Food and Pharmaceutical Authority and the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection.

The arrest came against the backdrop of employee involvement in charges of bribery, office abuse, abuse of power and fraud, and legal proceedings are pending. completion with a view to their return to justice.
