According to a Bloomberg report, Apple plans to use new, more sophisticated and less expensive technologies in its next-generation camera, which shows some interest in the 3D camera sensors that Sony began producing last summer. The news came after a rumor that Apple was planning to use a less expensive technology for the TrueDepth camera from the 2019 iPhone, last November.
These new cameras use technology to identify 3D images. Satoshi Yoshihara, general manager of Sony's sensor division, said that many smart phone manufacturers were interested in these chips, which is why the company has expanded its production. These sensors should be used in the front and rear three-dimensional cameras of various smart phones.
