PhotoCAF sent an official letter to Tharwat Soelem, executive director of the Egyptian Football Federation, to inform him of the decision of the African Union Club (AU) to exclude Ismaili from the League African Champions League 2019.

The Cameroonian referee, Nayant Allium, has decided to cancel the match for Ismaili and Afro-Tunisian last Friday during the second group stage of the African Champions League.

After 83 minutes of play, the Africans, who threw stones at the referee, won 2-1.

After the suspension of the match more than 15 minutes, the Cameroonian referee Niyant Allium decided to cancel the match because the referee was not protecting the Ismaili supporters.

According to the rules of the African Football Confederation (CA), if the referee is eliminated before the end of time due to mass riots, the host team will be considered a loser and will be excluded from the tournament, in accordance with Article 12 of the African Champions League.

The Ismaili club's board of directors, headed by Ibrahim Osman, officially protested to the African Football Confederation (CA) against Cameroonian referee Allium Niant, who was leading the match.

With this decision, the results of Ismaili are eliminated in teams and the group is completed by three teams: Mazrimbi, Congolese, Afro-Tunisian and young people of Constantine of Algeria.
